Wonder Woman(NBC) *Spoilers!*

If this show was called "Ultra Woman" and it was a made up character and had the same premise and the same script outlines posted, I'd be totally underwhelmed and couldn't figure out who would bother with the show. The only reason to watch the show is because it's about Wonder Woman, except it's an uninteresting take on Wonder Woman, so I can't imagine watching it.

^ You could say the same thing about Batman or Superman. I've always thought that if they weren't iconic characters, no one would watch shows or movies about a man fighting crime dressed as a bat or a super guy in tights.

And they wouldn't watch series about nerds fighting crime by looking in microscopes or games were grown-up men are running after a balloon. Everything can be reduced to the absurd.

I guess a comic book character needs a signature look but I though WW's signature look was long, lush, wavy hair, not thin straight hair. :wtf: Also if she walks around like that, I'm going to constantly be worrying that she can't see where she's going and will run into things. I hate this show already. :p

If it just took "hair", then Delta Burke should have been in the running at some point, perhaps in the early 80s.

Do you people even bother with reading the article? The hair style isn't from shooting Wonder Woman. Here blond hair was black which gave rise to the headline since Wonder Woman's hair is also black. She was at a movie premiere where it was styled as if she was going to a movie premiere. When she films her scenes, I'm sure the make-up people will style it the way they want to for Wonder Woman. Does that mean she'll look like that in the show as she does in the picture. No, not necessarily. But to leap to that conjecture is premature and misguided.

I didn't read the article, but I didn't need to - not living under a rock, I immediately assumed that Palicki wears her hair in whatever fashion she considers flattering and that it would be styled for Wonder Woman in whatever fashion the producers consider appropriate.

If the show were called "Ultra Woman" then those of us who find David E. Kelley's shows entertaining and have minimal interest in a kitschy seventies kids show starring a "notoriously bad actress" would still be looking forward to it. :techman:

Too bad knee-jerk fanboy reaction doesn't have that same level of sensibility or rationalism.
