Another Voyager 1st-time watch thread

So...shall I ask the stupid question? Have we been watching Voyager or Soyager (:guffaw:) since "Demon"? I'm guessing Voyager, because after the destruction of Soyager (really, :guffaw:), we obviously go on to the next ep...

I think that question just exploded my brain more than Deadlock did :lol::lol:

That might have been a more clever ending than "Endgame".

Too discover we've been watching the adventures of a fake Voyager all this time. That the real one and it's crew were destroyed long ago.

You know what would have been interesting is if some DQ baddie came along and was bent on revenge on Voyager, for something the crew does not remember occurring - only to find out that it was actually the crew of Soyager who'd been involved. I mean, that would have been the first reason I wouldn't have allowed the entire crew to be copied in "Demon" in the first place! All kinds of opportunity for double the trouble in the DQ.

Maybe that's what "Live Long and Prosper" should have been instead. :bolian:

In all she dies 17 times. But that's if you count the four times from Coda, and the like four more times she's mentioned as dead.

And they give Harry crap for dying all the time.

Janeway Death Scenes are fantastic because she goes from cool, calm and collected into I SHALL NOW CHANNEL MY INNER WILLIAM SHATNER. STAND ASIDE. And the directors always let her do it for some reason.

To be fair, there are other Janeway deaths where she spontaneously combusts/crashes into glaciers. We can assume she's making that silly face, I guess, but we don't see it.

I'm only up to "Riddles" (6x06) in Voyager; it's my first time watching. I'll let you know what I think when that ep comes up!
Oops!

My bad.:alienblush:
(Don't beat me.)

You don't give all that much away...anyway it's a hazard cruising the bbs because there are "spoilers" everywhere. The show's been over for 10 years, after all!

:guffaw: Mulgrew's a much better actress than that face lets on. It's pretty awful!

I thought he only died twice?

At least . . . She . . . Does not . . . Make . . . Every word . . . Spaced out . . . Such . . . Like . . . This . . .

According to the DVD, I'm due to watch "The Fight" tonight.

I've heard a lot about it. Wish me luck.

You know what? I'm a well known . . . well, not a Chak hater, but certainly I'm Chak-indifferent. And I think "The Fight" is a fair episode. Maybe you will like it.

Do a few shots of hard liquor before you watch it.

...you're gonna need it.

I did that before watching "Twisted" once. IT WAS AMAZING.

BAHAHAHAHAAA. :guffaw:

I think Doritos just spewed out of my nose.

:lol: :eek::eek::eek:

Oh no, owwie!!!

But, for reals, it is kind of fun watching an episode that is already filmed in Beer-Goggle-O-Vision while also wearing beer goggles. When Janeway's arm got stuck in the Jeffries tube and made her silly face I laughed until I cried. I do heartily recommend it.

I could see "The Fight" having the same effect. :)

Naahh, I'm fine! :D I just wanted to point out how hilarious I thought that was. Could be that I'm drinking a venti white mocha at 11pm and am a little sugar/caffeine crazy.

I skipped over 'The Fight'.. I'm not that big of a Chuckles fan. I'm looking forward to the review.

I've had a few I've skipped a LOT and that means when I do go back and watch them (Warlord, you're on my list) it's like watching Brand New Trek. Which is always good. Even a poor ep has nice exchanges between characters.
