Re: Smallville: 10x15 "The Hang...", er, "Fortune" - Discussion & Spoi
I'm surprised to see that almost all the votes are for the "terrible" option, yet at the same time I'm not surprised.
I voted "good" for two reasons...
1) I loved the Bruce Wayne and Wonder Woman reference. I loved it so much I hit rewind and watched it again.
2) Not a good final episode for Chloe, but her final moments seemed fitting and poignant. It was a good sendoff.
Bad rip-off of The Hangover already.
I've yet to see
The Hangover, but I could tell that this was a bad imitation.
And where did that fuckin' lemur come from? Is he supposed to be sitting in for Mike Tyson's tiger?
That lemur was pretty funny. Looked like a cartoon character at first. You know, like when they mix those CGI caricatures with live action? That's what I thought it was for half a second.
If Clark was drunk and 'consumated', he probably would've ruptured all of Chlo's major organs with the, ah, consumate material.
After they woke up, I was thinking of everything he and Chloe might have done together and what impact his powers would have had on what went down. Pun intended.
Clark is already not wearing his glasses. Way to hide your special identity, douche.
I totally forgot that he was supposed to be wearing glasses. No surprise though that they hit the reset button so soon. Guess we were right when we called it last week.
Tess looks hot dressed like a gogo girl.
Yeah, that look suits her.
Also, it was kind of weird seeing her chum around with everyone. Isn't she the bad guy? I wonder how they would have worked Lex into the mix if Rosenbaum were still on the show.
I wonder if that's Emil's real voice. He is a Guiliard trained singer.
Probably. They either wanted to make use of his singing or he lobbied to get a singing appearance put in.
I thought superman couldn't get drunk?
Zatanna put a spell on the champagne so that it would work on Clark.
Oh man, most desperate drag scene ever.
Yeah, that was bad and totally pointless. What was the point of it?
And when did Metropolis get a Vegas-ian district?
I was thinking the same thing. Whatever the plot needs I guess.
This guy looks like a cross between Ben Kingsley and Terry O'Quinn
I was thinking Terry O'Quinn myself.
Seriously, I think Oliver spent more time in that showgirl outfit than he has as Green Arrow this season.
I was thinking something similar... Ollie is just "there" this season, moping around for whatever reason. No Green Arrow, no real purpose.
