Current Popular British Comedies?

I wouldnt say there are any particularly good comedies going on right now in the UK. Peep Show is past its prime, Inbetweeners is just a dumb cross between Peep Show and SKins, Gavin and Stacy is pretty average, Outnumbered is pretty average. I havent seen 'Not Going Out', but Ill have a look.

Unfortunetely, it seems like America is going to beat us at comedies soon, as well as drama.
Seems i'm not missing much on the Brit Comedy front then. But does America have anything really good these days?

^So basically there's lists of good stuff and one person says "There's nothing" and you assume he's right and everyone else is wrong?

30 Rock is pretty good; I also regularly watch The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, but both shows have lost some steam recently imo. Community seems to be pretty popular too, but I never really got into that. All other sitcoms currently on US tv are shit imo.

In regards to "comedy" though there's still the classics like South Park and The Daily Show, my new favourite though is Tosh.0; it's very, ehm, "low brow", but I love it. ;)
