SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

I knew it! Ha! :D

Ugh. I was reading that there are hints that the finale won't be called "Superman" or "Metropolis" I never thought the second one would work but no "Superman"? I bet they will call it "Finale" or "Smallville".

And we are only missing ep 21 & 22 titles.

Must have taken days of intense thinking, a trip to Las Vegas and bringing back Kelly Sounder's(who is now a man) to come up with the title.

^ Brian and Kelly probably didn't look at that Guy. Wow had no idea so many finales were named Endgame. "Finale" is generic enough that it matches the show's style of lame titles.

"Finale" isn't the most original title, but it's better than "Superman", literally everyone who ever watched Smallville thought of that one.

I'll admit, when I saw on KSite that the episode title was released, I was excited, only to give a simple "Oh" when reading "Finale". However, it wasn't out of disappointment, but out of unexpectedness. I like it. Then again, I like it when shows use that title for a final episode. Especially when shows have had a continuing, growing story that comes to an end point. Smallville fits that.

Also, be honest here people, they could have called it "Superman", "Metropolis", "Flight", "Steel", "Up", "Away", "Glasses", "Mild-Mannered", "Beginning", "Nerdgasm", or "Chloe Boobage" and everyone here would have still bitched and moaned. The amount of negativity in this thread about the show (while blindly ignoring the strengths of the current season) makes me wonder why you guys still actually watch the damn show. Haters gonna hate apparently. There, I said it.

I for one didn't think it should be called out right "Superman" but something to do with the mythology. I already knew they wouldn't call it Superman when they put the kibosh on that title back in season seven.

Interesting when i was reading the spoiler section...the section for "Finale" stated that Kristen Kruek will not be returning as Lana Lang. While not news it is of note to me. I was hoping that they'd bring Lana back so they could do the atrocity they did to her by making her Kryptonite Woman. It makes zero sense that she's not been mentioned on the show or even used off screen as a Watchtower operative.

"Finale" works for me...I know some people aren't happy but I am more concerned with how it will play out than with the title..."Dominion" & "Prophecy" will probably take care of this seasons arcs and all the iconic stuff before the events in "Finale" play out.

They could have taken the piss.

"Waiting for Superman"

Capitalizing on a big movie that's out right now while bitchslapping their audience on a couple levels.

^ I'm guessing most of the audience of Smallville would think that "Waiting for Superman" is a movie about Superman lol.
