I can now do the half a spaceship thingy though what use it will be I'm not sure yet

The stardrive section becomes more escort like once you seperate, less hull, but much more maneuvrable. And the saucer is fighting with you as prety effective support vessel.
You can stay seperated as long as you like even when the saucer gets disabled.
Just always remember NOT to hit full impuls if you want to keep fighting seperated, cause you get a pretty long cooldown phase. probably too long for the same map.

According to the patch notes for this morning's patch, you can now remain at full impulse while seperated from the saucer. If you separate while at full impulse, you will momentarily stop while the saucer seperates, then resumes full impulse.

That is very cool. But still keep in mind, the saucer will use regular impuls and needs time to catch up anyway. Or did they change that as well? :vulcan:

Conga line in Earth orbit. At one point there was about 20 ships in a row, I couldn't zoom out far enough to see them all.

This was taken 7 minutes after the latest episode went live. It's at the system where it takes place...

If you're having disconnect issues, that's why.

I came back from my latest mission with a new friend.

As with any new visitor to my starship, he had to go for a quick health check to make sure he wasn't carrying anything infectious.

My engineering team, ever the sharp bunch, observed that Hortas are silicon-based, so they wanted to join in the fun, just in case.

To ease the pain, though, they let him into Main Engineering, where he discovered a love of jumping on things.

I took him up to the Bridge, and, as a special reward, showed him my Ready Room. He'd obviously heard me tell my Ops officer to put something On Screen; I don't think he quite gets the concept.

He started getting tired after that. After a quick trip to Ten Forward - where he completely failed to understand that you can't eat poker chips - we retired to my quarters, where he found himself a nice little nest.

Thingol - sweet ride! :)

Some more screenshots, from all 3 of my characters...

First up, my Klingon Torlek (yep, that's right 'Klingon Academy' fans! ;) ) interrogates a Breen prisoner:

/camdist 200 (or any other number ^.^)

I try not to spread that around so the devs don't suddenly say "OMG I can't believe we left that in there for them to play with, remove it!"
