^^ Duh, it's because he's Prince. Same goes for Nic Cage

If Prince & Nick are allowed to be creepy, odd and still be accepted then I don't see why Anakin who is equal to a celeb by being the "chosen one" in SW, can't be the same.
Star Wars is a great movies series and doesn't necessarily make for great TV.
^^Ok, Nick Cage is creepy off screen.
Yet still finds plenty of hot women to date.
Prince is odd as hell, yet the hottest women all want to sleep with him.
How's that?![]()

T-Shirt, that's funny.Anakin is the "Prince" of his universe.^^ Duh, it's because he's Prince. Same goes for Nic Cage

Is Anakin wearing a t-shirt saying "Chosen One"? How does everyone know he's the Chosen one? Does everyone know?
Oh, I see.Neither guy has a persona that is malicious, childish or weak - that's what I mean by creepy.
Not even close. Prince seems like he'd be very cool to hang out with. PT Anakin would be tiresome. TCW Anakin would be a blast. As for Nick Cage, he probably has some good stories and good drugs.
Malicious + childish + weak is my definition of creepy. For instance, Michael Jackson is childish + weak, but not creepy, unless you add in "possible child molester" which means malicious. That's how you get to creepy. Emotionally immature is just the "childish" part. You need the other stuff to get all the way to the Creep Zone.don't know anyone personally that would describe those traits as creepy. More like emotionally immature would be the definition, I think.
I'm not even sure what that means. Star Wars is about people who know Anakin personally, so there is no useful distinction between his public persona (whatever that might be) and how people view him personally. My fault, I should have been more clear.
In that statement I was referring to status.
Anakin's rep. is a well known too many during the CW.
It wasn't about personality.

Lucas is a control-freak, as you've noted, but I'm sure he was also disappointed by the reception of most of his TV-related Star Wars ventures. "The Star Wars Holiday Special" was a disaster which Lucas has attempted to destroy all traces of.
What I wish is that George Lucas would drop his fascination with the #^^><€^£!!! clone wars. Two movies and two animated shows have now covered the same manufactured war between 'good clones and bad droids'.
Honestly, I'm really not following your train of though on this.Malicious + childish + weak is my definition of creepy. I don't know anyone personally (thank GORT!) who fits that definition, but I can expand my imagination to encompass fictional characters who might.

Since you seem to be referencing TCW, this debate is getting confounded. TCW Anakin is not at all creepy and is, in fact, the character as he should have been written (perhaps was) and performed (definitely wasn't) in the PT.
