I don't get that... a lottery to win a chance to pay for something. It doesn't scream win win.

It's a luirker plot to sell you something you don't need . Just get the dvd's There worth it . wish it would go to blu ray .

It's not about need, it's about interest. I'm fascinated with reading scripts as a writer myself I find it interesting to get a glimpse of the story writing process. These give writers and fans a glimpse of what JMS was thinking when he was writing the show. I do agree though after actually reading the site that it does seem weird to have a lottery to buy them. I'm guessing because they're "rare' now.

As the site says, they are dipping into their own supply of books to give out. As there is a limited supply available and (potentially) a lot of people that want them, they're doing it in lottery form.

I found some of them at halfprice books . Have'nt read them but have the first three . I am a hugh fan of the show I can'nt wait for the big screen adaption .

currently reading star trek articles of the federation & star wars knight errant

then moving onto games of throne and stephen king's dark tower series.

noteable bookaholic read two a week need more to read.

Definitely sticking to DS9 scripts to get all my 'I'm a writer and this intrigues me' needs.

Why? Because JMS can't seem to come up with a satisfactory plot for a film and until he does so we won't be seeing any more B5.

JMS can't write a stand alone story in the B5 universe anymore. It's either lame or has some link to a past storyline, usually the stuck record that is stolen shadow tech.

There's also the fact the cast have aged and any studio will probably want to recast.

Just wait ten more years. The show will get rebooted.

I think it has more to do with budget than plot.

Why does everyone assume that every popular science fiction show will be rebooted given time? Just because a couple of them have doesn't mean all of them will be. I think B5 will be one of a kind personally.
