With all the 3D cartoons (CGI) they've made, I'm still surprised none have been done as a joint project between the Trekies and the Whovians
Popularity of both shows, and I know there's enough people within all forums something could be come up with.

thefourthdoctor, A Star Trek/Doctor Who crossover would be extremely difficult. Just for starters, you are looking at mixing two series which EACH have over 40 years of history behind them. Working out the canon would be a nightmare! Then it goes onto which universe to you set it in, Doctor Who's or Star Trek's? And which Doctor? Which Captain? Which class starship? What version of the Tardis? Which companions?

But I should not speak so soon...I for one have never been the one to stifle creativity so if you have any ideas I would like to hear them, and I don't mean that sarcastically.

RTD wanted to do a Star Trek/Doctor Who crossover, but the cancellation of Enterprise put an end to that idea. He considered toying with the idea of a Doctor Who episode where the Doctor arrives on a starship which was very much Star Trek like, eg a starship part of an exploration fleet with a captain, first officer, science officer, token alien officer with funny forehead. The idea was ultimatey abandoned.

I've thought of separate story lines for all the eras.
Enterprise mts the 7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy)
STO mts the 4th Doctor (Tom Baker)
DS9 mts the 8th Doctor (Paul McGann) or a secondary story line the 4th Doctor
Voyager mts the 5th Doctor (Peter Davison)

Han an idea using the Ice Warriors just uncertain if to make a joint project with Star Trek or just Star Trek.

How about the 11th Doctor meets Picard who runs into a Borg cube (again) and while this is going on a Dalek ship shows up (EXTERMINATE!!) The Enterprise quietly leaves the scene as the two ships battle it out. I am sure the question has been asked on another thread on who would win but let's leave it for that thread

I have that problem every day about understanding things-how people can see a sign that reads "Press help if you have Layaway" instead they set up their 20 sum odd things for merchandise pick up-or "Please have vehicle pulled up to MPU parking prior to scanning receipt" and they still scan and run-Or the lovely one of "I thought it would be smaller-when they bring a two door car to pick up 3 tool boxes

Jean Airey's The Doctor and the Enterprise (Tom Baker's Doctor meets TOS) is worth a read. It's a fanfic, but it has the "honour" of having been ripped off and professionally published without the author's consent. Copyright was ducked by replacing "Kirk" with "The Captain" and "Spock" with "The Scientist". Only they didn't even bother to do that all the time. Despite the cartoon cover art, it's not a parody.

The original version is available online for free. Google it!
