Kirstie's Saavik. The most complex guest character the films have had.

Saavik as played by Robin Curtis. If for no other reason, fixing the atrocious mistake that was casting Alley to begin with.

Daniels comes close, just because a random goldshirt who survives the Borg after going back to the front lines again and again is incredibly awesome to me. Too bad he didn't even get a brief appearance in Nemesis.

Daniels was the overworked security officer in First Contact and Perim was the Trill helmsman in Insurrection.

So they were essentially two set pieces? Where are Dougherty or Zephram Cochrane or Lily Sloan or a whole slew of other characters who were more important in the films?

Neither Cochrane or Lily were Starfleet officers, and Dougherty was a bad guy.

I didn't make the poll, but it looks to me like the choices are limited to guest star types who served on the Enterprise/E-A/E-E.

But that still leaves us missing Harriman and Demora Sulu plus I'm sure there's more. I would also think Valeris would qualify as a 'bad guy'.

Neither Harriman or Demora served under Kirk or Picard, and Valeris still pushed buttons while workin' for Kirk & Spock.

Knew I would miss a couple somewhere along the line.

It is just limited to the Starfleet crew that served on the Enterprise, who were introduced (some went on to be developed and others either disappeared or were needlessly killed off).

Its all just a bit of fun.
