What if Alice had said "No" too?

Guy Gardener

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Susanna was busy doing a show which was cancelled after 12 episodes (One day at a Time? NO.) that no one even remembers about some Joe Sixpack who got brain transplanted into a super spy body... Hey that's reverse-Chuck?

Using Alice wasn't some good idea better than Suzi stroke of genius, it was a hail Mary act of desperation because no one had the forethought to book Susannah ahead of time.

If Alice had said "No" as well I see ten possibilities..

1. They recast the same character with an unknown and pray no one notices.
2. Kes is the new Queen.
3. Seska is the new Queen.
4. Seven of Nine is the new Queen.
5. Seven of Nine has always been the Queen.
8. Admiral Janeway is made the new queen half way through Endgame.
7. Future Janeway is the new Borg Queen in the future who comes back to assimilate her crew faster.
8. They drop the queen completely from the still Borgcentric Endgame
9. They drop the Borg altogether from Endgame.
10. They move around their shooting schedule to accommodate Susannah (That show she was on starred Eric Close who was in dark Skies with Jeri... Now that would have been peachy if he came along too for a cameo as perhaps as Sevens love interest rather than Chakotay? NOW AND AGAIN!!)

Opinions?

They'd just cast a third actress, which the audience would interpret as "Oh, so since the Krige one is dead and the Thompson one presumably died in Dark Frontier they kept with the idea and made a 3rd Queen. Huh."

They must have had more money for the last episode?

or more so that any surplus from bottle episodes and frugal expenditure would have been on hand and if they didn't use it here and now it would just be lost and swallowed by the bar tab at the cast party...

Then if they felt hard doesn't by, they could have blow the budget skyhigh without much consequence?

Bea Arthur?

That'd be my guess, and something they should have done, anyway.

I heart the heck out of Alice Krige and I was happy to see her, but this would have made a ton more sense.
