The Middle Finger?

Nardpuncher

Rear Admiral
I remember watching I believe it was Datalore where if you go slow when Lore is quickly scanning the computer and many pages of text and some images go by ( like a Federation logo, a Klingon Empire symbol, an Excelsior class blueprint and even a parrot I think) you can catch what always seemed to me to be a hand giving the middle finger.

I brought this up about 7 or 8 years ago before the bbs crash, and recall some people 'seeing' it an others not.
Any help would be appreciated!

I know that hte "parrot" is a bird with Roddenberry's head imposed over it's own head. This being the "Great Bird of the Galaxy".

I've never seen any middle finger, however.

This is the clearest image I could find while at work... (shhh)

Ha! That's great! Thanks for that.

That's why I think they may have put the finger in there...they were goofing around already.

What about that scene where Picard is inadvertantly giving the middle finger? Does anyone know what episode that is?

I have a feeling it may have been Devil's Due and that he's not exactly giving the finger, but snapping his fingers and if you freeze it at the right moment it looks like he's giving the finger, though I could be wrong.

I really enjoy the fact that, thanks to your av, he appears to be saying that to Santa.

You know, I've seen the parrot so many times but never realized Gene's head was superimposed over it!! I gotta go put that ep on now!

I'm sorry to sound like a jerk, but if anyone sees it can they post the thing that I think that looks like a hand giving the finger?!

Sorry, Nardpuncher. I sort of derailed that one.

Is this the picture you're thinking of?
