Quite awhile ago I came across some well done photo manips that replaced the Enterprise-E with the Enterprise-D... in certain key scenes from Star Trek First Contact.

The two that I recall involved the E-D zooming in between the Cube and the Defiant and another one of the D opening a can of ButtHertz on the Cube.

Does anyone remember these? If so where can I find copies? I need to pass them on to a friend... we were just discussing What If the E-D had made it to First Contact.

I remember those pictures, and I think they where in one of the photoshop threads (in general trek forum), but I'm not entirely sure.

I Googled "first contact" "enterprise D" and the most interesting thing I got was this:

    Google is pretty useless sometimes.

I'm wanting to say those photomanips came from TrekBBS member Warped9, I could be wrong.

But you might want to PM him.

I know exactly which photos you're talking about, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

I thought Flux Capacitor made em. IDK, my long and short-term memory is totally banjaxed, but ah' know it weren't Warped9 who'd done them pics.

Oops. Got these confused with ones done by Warped9.

    :p

Destroying the Enterprise - D was one of the great mistakes of Star Trek.

The most impressive part is that he managed to create those pics with a Bridge Commander model.
