Porpoises rescue Dick van Dyke

And he was one of the best NMJ guests the show has had in a while. He even sang the lyrics to the Dick Van Dyke show, and Peter sounded like he had an Orgasm. It was just really really cool.
I know! It was awesome!!  Who knew that theme song had lyrics?!
Not me! Every day I learn something new. And apparently they were written by Morey Amsterdam. I hope that clip of DVD singing gets uploaded.

I do have one question...How sunburned was he? I can't imagine he drifted that far out and the porpoises pushed him back so fast he wasn't just a bit red from more than embarrassment.

Otherwise, You go guy!! DVD has always rocked in my book.

I’m amazed an 84yo was surfing!

The old Dick Van Dyke show was amazingly good.

ROSEBUD! I was the only person in my class who knew what that meant on this show.

^Actually it was more like this (but neon pink and green):

But I'm impressed you remembered!

So it wasn't a lilo at all.

In Australia the thing in your photo would be called a floatie.

In the UK we call them rubber rings.

In America we call them “tubes” or “inner tubes,” because originally they were discarded inner tubes from old car tires (before tires went tubeless).

Unless they’re calling them something else now. I’m an old fart.

Ok, time for another one.

They say you're more likely to survive these things if you have a porpoise in life.

As the Porpoises pushed Van Dyke to shore they did a little song and dance

Everybody's got a Porpoise in life!!

This got me thinking about:

Little random, but I love that simple joke.

Porpoises rescue Dick van Dyke
Is that like 'Hornets Attack Victor Mature'?

This is the greatest sentence I have read all day!
Let's find some more then!

Bears Molest John Wayne!

Bats Tease Henry Winkler!

Raccoons Tell Nick Nolte To Straighten Up And Fly Right!

I loved the old DVD Show when I was a kid, he was just the kinda guy you'd want to be, a bit of a klutz but charming and funny and warm-hearted. And Mary Tyler Moore, wow.

[Now for da funni.] The porpoises brought him back because they made him promise to sing more songs in a cheeky chappy Cockney way. They want us to suffer. Suffer!
