Best villain ever

If we count all of Trek, I go for Q, then Dukat, perhaps Annorax.

I never got the appeal of Khan, really. I thought he was an arrogant fool in WOK, really.
Khan was an arrogant fool, but the really good villains always have an obvious achilles heel. Alamo as Dukat was really good at first. He had me convinced he was changing for the better and seemed so sincere, I was surprised when he turned. I was also dissapointed by DS9's choice of overusing his character. Then he wasn't so interesting and mysterious anymore.

My choice(s) would be the Romulan commander (Balance of Terror) and Kang (Day of the Dove). Great characters, not just paper, one-dimensional villains.
Balance of Terror - is that TNG? I also like Gul Eveck, (I forget who plays him). Reminds me of people in real life who play the victim so well, they can be just as dangerous as aggressive ppl.

Five pages and no Trelane?

Trelane was frickin AWESOME in my eyes. Something higher than human but lesser than godlike, though bordering on godlike. He could create whatever he wanted, but it was all hollow and useless (tasteless food, heatless fire). He truly looked at humanity with a childlike quality, sort of like a child who has just found that he can set insects on fire using a magnifying glass.

Only mommy and daddy saved the day, if I remember right. No last minute miracles or heroism from the crew, but a couple of the same species further along save Kirks rear end. It was something different (before the whole Q thing in TNG) and I really liked it.

We're not nice. Stick around and you'll find out before long. :p

Anyway... Dukat was great right up until the moment he lost his marbles. After that.... MWAHAHAHA! Evil! Hmpf.

I can't believe people are still saying Khan. He's even worse than Voldemort.

Kor...!!! I want him on TREK XII, why? They were never able to make him one of the recurring villians on the show... just imagine him on the trouble with tribbles or on day of the dove? AMAZING but never happened :scream:

I liked the ambiguity of whether he was malicious hiding behind the irritating trickster face, or if he was out to help humanity all alone. One of the better "Godlike" beings in Trek.

Khan, always. Montalban put much more into that role than what ever was written on to the page.
When you all grow up and understand why he was so good, then post to this thread.

I've watched Space Seen and WoK repeatedly, and I still don't see what makes him so good. I'm "grown up" enough, thank you very much Mr. Condescending. Khan isn't much of ANYTHING compared to guys like Kor, or Q, or Dukat.

You'll probably follow-up on this with some "Think what you will you young-whippersnapper" type jab. Save your breath.

Grow up? I don't grow up! I won't grow up! I refuse to grow up!

Khan was retarded! Khan was retarded! Nananananaaana! :p

On a more serious note: Khan was a moron who bleached away his ability to count to three whilst stuck on that planet. Please, never ever bring him back, Powers That Be!
