Should be back up now. I must have accidentally broken the link when I revised the picture a bit.

    Chaotica's prisoner - Dale Arden.

    Her hero, Captain Proton.

(I think the first image was more successful; I had a lot of trouble with Dale's contrast level in the second.)

Those Capt. Proton/Flash Gordon ones are great. If I didn't know, I'd never know.

^ Scotpens, some really nice work there. Good choice on Diana Rigg and convincing skin blending. [IMG].

Thanks for the compliments. Like all of us Photoshop tweakers, I'm always trying to improve. For example, I can see now where some of the faces need more grain to better blend with the base photo. And Nancy Kovack's -- uh, I mean Jackie Bisset's -- hand and knife scabbard should cast a shadow on her midriff.

Diana Rigg on Trek TOS -- oh, if only . . . ! :adore:

^ You're welcome. :) Yeah, there's lots of considerations when doing this sort of thing. A lot of it depends upon the compatibility of the images and the lighting used. Another thing hard to get right is proportion. The one of Avril Lavigne looks great, because the lighting for both images match really well. The only thing I'd suggest is lowering the brightness level and adding a slight touch of blur to her part of the image. The one with Jacqueline Bisset is tough because the lighting direction contrasts by 90 degrees. You'd have to fabricate some shadow effects. The other thing is her head looks a little small. With sizing, I make a few copies of the layer and experiment with different sizes to see how they look. Sometimes reduction or enlargement by just 2% can make a world of difference. :)

Here's an example... took the head of Avril Lavigne that you provided and lowered the brightness, added some blur, and then used a selection with 3px anti-alias to soften edges on some parts of her hair. I also switched to a different base photo (got it from TrekCore), to put more of the table in view. It could still use a little work... I'd probably tone down some of the hair highlights and try to blend Avril's hair into Drusilla's a bit more. But alas... it's all about how much time you have to spend. ;)

It's Jame Finney's dress. I think Beverly looks great in the red dress. Nice job, Gary 7. You've chosen great expressions for Troi and Crusher.

Thanks, WillsBabe. :) I thought that the earlier Troi look had a more "school girl" appearance, so I lifted that from an early season image. It was hard to get a good lighting match... Troi's hair looks so dark then, making it difficult to blend into this image, which had no deep blacks. The real challenge was filling that empty seat. You can probably tell that Kirk wasn't there originally, as his proportion still isn't quite right. I couldn't find a good frontal shot of him sitting that was of the right resolution, so I "assembled" him together from different image pieces. His tunic is from a standing position so it was hard to work it in... I ended up trying to make it look like he's sitting up straight on the edge of his chair. :)

This babe wouldn’t be smitten by Apollo’s charms. She’s already a goddess.

She’d probably throw a communicator at him!

    I've touched her!!!

She was the Chancellor of Stirling University and at my graduation I shook her hand.

    My one claim to fame.

    Excellent work there!

Nice one of Naomi Campbell, Scotpens!

Wow, what a great experience Bry. I'd never thought of Diana Rigg as someone who'd go into school administration. :wtf:

Here's another take on the Courtmartial lineup. I think this version of Troi works better, contrast wise... just would have liked for her to be looking the other way. Also made some minor body adjustments to Kirk, as well as a new head.

Nice work Gary7! On the Court Martial one, I'm a picky pain in the rear end, cause to me, Troi #1 wins, and Kirk #2 wins.
