I'd agree with that too. That's the best solution, but obviously it rarely happens. If the kids getting picked on could kick the bully's asses, they wouldn't be getting bullied. But yeah, getting their asses kicked would help them learn a valuable lesson that would be preferable to the school getting involved or even the law. I wish I could go back in time and tell my sixth grade self, "Hey, toughen up and kick some ass, damn it! Don't be such a fuckin' candyass!"...yet another reason bullies just need to get their ass kicked in grade school.The suicides are tragic, but it does concern me that people might try to use them as a reason to pass a bunch of ridiculous anti-bullying laws that will result in the "bullies'" lives being completely destroyed. Bullies are messed up kids who need guidance and direction. Instituting harsh legal punishments for bullying almost guarantees that those kids will end up criminals someday.

Because let's face it, when the school gets involved, or the parents, the bullied child better hope the bully doesn't think he or she was tattled on, or else it will just get worse.
