Too bad the Ravens and Skins couldn't pull it off, but you can't ask for perfection.

:mallory:

Crappy coaching is killing the Ravens. :scream:

Agreed. You can't beat an elite quarterback by going into prevent and rushing 3 for a whole damn quarter and you can't win on the road settling for stuffed runs and punting on 4th and inches in the 4th quarter. Apparently Flacco and Cameron had a little heart-to-heart about such cowardly play calling.

On the upside, Ed Reed returned to the practice field today. :mallory:

I'm impressed with that. Flacco is a smart guy, but he had to go from a division of college football where teams are a bit slower than the BCS teams to a Conference with the Steelers and Patriots. If he's showing confidence at this point to fight with the offensive coordinator (even over what was obviously crappy play-calling) in order to take greater control, it shows a great progression.

I thought that was a great strategy, it worked just the way I hoped it would. :p

I am liking what I've seen of C9olt McCoy these past two games (well, game and a half, really). He is showing great poise and seems to be able to make a variety of throws. He's got a long way to go, but the Browns MAY have found their QB of the future. Not that it hasn't already been said for the past how many QB's?

Keep winning with Kolb, Philly. Let Michael Vick sit on the sidelines (when he shows up) and gradually fade into oblivion just when he'd gotten back what he wanted. What appropriate karma.

Excellent.

Colt McCoy's doing okay today? That's good news. :) In other news, Favre admitted to leaving the texts, but says he didn't send the pictures. I guess someone decided to frame him with pictures of a stubby penis at the same time he was sniffing around Sterger. Can't bring himself to admit it's his. You should have retired, Favre. Seriously. Not that his wife isn't completely aware of what an unfaithful horndog he is. She admitted as much in her first book. That Christian faith of hers blinds her to his faults, I guess. Maybe she doesn't believe in divorce.

Actually the pictures were for me.....but you know Brett--they were intercepted. :guffaw: ....anonymous poster

:angryrazz:
Well, I hear Heinz 57 tastes good on crow, or should I just slather it in ketchup?

EDIT--Son of a bitch, St. Louis, you let Tampa Bay score the go ahead touchdown with 10 seconds left in the game.... :scream: :scream: :scream: What happened to your lead? You gave this road game away. They're gonna be sick about this one. They should be.

If Favre wins that'll bottom out my NFL day.

Congrats to the Ravens. I ended listening to the game on the ride back to DC. It sounded pretty crazy.

It was stupid. With the exception of Ray Lewis, Ed Reed (first week back from PUP = forced fumble, 2 INT, 40 yard INT return :luvlove:) and Lardarius Webb, the D looked like they were already on the bye week. At least they now have 2 weeks to work on the pass defense and pull their shit together.
