So anybody painted the Axon into a Krynoid yet Also wonder if we'll get the various fake/alternate/evil Doctors. Watcher, Valeyard, Jackson Lake, Dream Lord....
You never know what they'll release but I wouldn't be up for any of those. Two-packs seem to be the way they go with the exclusives so if they did releases like those figures, it'd likely be packaged with a re-release of a Doctor already out there.
I don't even collect Doctor Who stuff but I would definitely buy this! It's a cross-over I would love to see Finally an explanation of how one small bear gets from Darkest Peru to Paddington Station with only a jar of marmalade jam for sustenence.
I wanted to see how well a six year old camera would handle a night shot, lit by solar garden lights. I think it turned out alright. Better than I'd hoped at least.
^ Cool! "YOU ARE THE DOCTOR! YOU WILL BE EX-TERRR-MINATED" "Yes, yes, but not now, all right? I'm on holiday." It's a shame the windows don't light up like the 9/10 F.C. TARDIS. That would have made the shot even better.
I agree. That is the most disappointing thing about that TARDIS. Otherwise it is a beautiful looking box.
It's damned disappointing indeed. Especially considering that the 11th's is a simple repaint of the body of 9th/10th's. Gee. Was an extra led or two too much money for productions costs? But glad you both liked the shot.
The next wave of figures (DoctorWhoToys.net calls it "Wave 1F"): Prisoner Zero (I'm getting the impression from other sites that it's not a Build-A-Figure) Francesco the Vampire Roman Auton Smiler Dalek Progenitor Guardian Projected Weeping Angel Dalek Ironside (presumably the "Blackout Variant") Dalek Drone
^ I was wondering that myself. Sounds like their way of leeching more money out of the consumer with toys under the Series 5 banner. Just repackage the gold (or copper, or whatever colour it's called) Dalek from the RTD era with the Matt Smith packaging and people will buy, buy, BUY!!
The shelf labelling at my local calls the first batch DW-11-Wv1, so I guess this might be DW-11-Wv2...
Indeed. No Rory. No River Song. Why the hell not? Fransesco the Vampire would only be good if there was a swappable, normal head. As for the Progenitor Dalek, the only difference with the normal RTD era Daleks is that the plunger and paint roller arms are normal sizes as opposed to the thick, fat ones that were on the other RTD Daleks.
