It also probably looks dark due to the lighting in the attic. I'm sure that when we actually see this on Tom later next year that the suit will be brighter and it will be during the day, although this is Smallville so one has to wonder.

I suspect that Jor-El will now deliberately be saying more things that Clark will disagree with for his final lesson: to listen to yourself and not anyone else. Clark's open defiance of Jor-El (and possible "deactivation" of him) will be the last barrier in becoming his own man, or hero, or whatever ...

Jor-El has normally in the past said things that Clark hasn't agreed with to the point of open defiance. In the episode's case this time Jor-El happened to be correct in his analysis of his son's behavior. I don't know that he would be purposely saying stuff to create dissent between the two. Not sure how that would serve Clark any good in his training. It is obvious that Clark will be spending this final season having to first recognize that he has been prideful and egotistical then change that behavior to become the true hero Earth needs. I suspect that his upcoming conflict with Darkseid and the New Gods will play a big part in his ongoing character arc and this pridefulness is part of his "self doubt" and "inner darkness" thingy that PSW have been portraying the last two seasons. Once that is resolved and he realizes that he will make mistakes and he isn't perfect he will start flying. The self doubt and misplaced confidence due to ego is preventing Clark from flying...

The production design/costume people have until the time the Smallville finale airs to make their own suit/modifications. Ton's of shows have added scenes days before an episode airs

Tom probably looked into a box with nothing in it. He said at comic con the trailer was when he first saw the suit.

As you know the suit we saw in "Lazarus" was a place holder taken out of the WB wardrobe department.

By the end of the season the suit will have magically changed to fit Welling and appear differently

That is the real reason Jor-El took the suit! Ma Kent's sewing skills aren't what they used to be, working as a Senator for years. So Jor-El absconded it and stuck it in his Fortress Automated Tailor™ for alterations!

So in essence, Clark is aerodynamically impotent due to psychological problems. ;)

Well, it happens to every guy at least once.

He literally can't get it up.

If by "it" you mean that Clark is nothing but a penis from stem to stern then yes, most assuredly yes.

I figured out the difference between Welling and Reeves portrayals of the Part. One is right and and the other is righteous.

I suppose that is an adequate if crude analogy as Spock might say ;) Oh and the dude that beat the shit out of Ollie was Rick Flag apparently. Not sure how this slipped by us in the Smallville hiatus thread.

That guy was way not sexy enough to be Rick Flagg.

You know what I want to see most out of a JLA/Suicide Squad Brawl?

Bart vs. Captain Boomerang.

Cat's annoying and for that I love her already!!! Michael Shanks will always be tied to Egypt in some way it seems lol. Isn't this episode also featuring Deadshot?
