Sometimes I hate the BBC...Spooks returns...

^Yeah, it's be cool to see them in a plots in other areas of the country, not some big plot to over throw the country or bomb the capital. Well apparently Peter Firth has been hinting that Harry could die, and I think if they did that that would sign the death warrant of the series as a whole.

Spooks without Harry would be a bit pointless. Especially since they haven't even got an obvious replacement. No, Peter Firth is the show for a large part--I hope he doesn't die though!

Yes.

I guess the trouble is that over the years they've had to ramp up the storylines somewhat. I do hope they move away from the big conspiracy stuff, although I guess Nightingale is still out there.

I just wish they weren't always trying to blow London up, be nice if they saw a bit more of the UK!

I do wonder if Robert Gleniester's comments about Harry being a little person who'll never have a chance to change the world were throwaway or are leading somewhere?

I think too much London is a problem for a lot of BBC shows I'm surprise a clip of London did not turn up in the road to coronation street.
I enjoyed last night was surprise when the old home secretary turned out to be even more evil than most MPs.
But would have thought the other home secretary getting blow up would have got the government some sympathy votes in the election and maybe kept them in power.

ha ha, nah I reckon he'll be bumbling and incompetant rather than evil. They need a bit of continuity home sec wise now.

I was a little dissapointed last night the show felt a little out of character not too mention it feels at time there trying to make it a soap and not a hard hitting drama...

I was not convinced by the
marriage proposal from Harry nor his feelings to quit. However the scene with him killing the ex home sec was very well done.

Also the ending with Lucas was very .

I was hoping Spooks would reach 10 years and go out with a TW:COE style plot but maybe 9 should be all they wrote.

I think the resingation was a bit silly, we all know he ain't gonna quit. Nothing wrong with the proposal imo, long time coming!

Being a bit dense but TW:COTE?

^ Yeh edited now to COE.

Spooks is a perfect show to have a 5 day/5 episode storyline. It would be the perfect way for the show to go out on ;) but sadly we all know TV Execs aren't as clever.
