USS Vastitude - A War Is Upon Us The USS Vastitude, till recently the Federation's contact point in Orion Space, has been dispatched to handle a rising threat in the Cardassian territory, several years after the signing of the Bajor Treaty with the Dominion, winds start to shift in Cardassian space as several small factions within the Union are not willing to accept the treaty conditions anymore. The crew of the USS Vastitude, led by Captain Peter Haden, has learned it's way through Orion Space, the piracy, illegal trades, handling of small cells of criminals, is now trusted to be the leading force to deal with the new threats that lay in the Cardassian border. The Sovereign class starship has known it's battles and has proved it's top fighting ability, it's experienced crew now maneuvers it through their new adventure. The year is 2431 and the Federation lies in tatters. Late in 2410 The combined forces of a rejuvenated Dominion the Breen the kinshaya and their returning allies the Romulan Star empire and their slaves the Gorn attacked the Federation and their Allies, The Federation having controlled the Alpha Quadrant for as long as they can remember decided to expand and with the Borg appeased started to expand when they invaded they came fast and destroyed colony after colony the Federation desperate for help turn to old and new allies, the free Borg, the collective collapsed and these, the survivors still able to work together enough that they can control a ship but still essentially free sign a non aggression pact and allow the few Federation vessels out there a safe harbour in the Delta Quadrant, A Federation cruiser carrying the last survivors of the Federation council arrive and are permitted to inhabit a world in the quadrant under the protection of the Borg. These new allies along with the remainders of the Imperial Romulan state and the Klingon empire arrive and a new coalition club together and start to work together. Now 21 years later enhanced Federation ships are armed with Borg weapons and advanced Federation research such as the Ablative Armour. The Gamma quadrant stands now independent given its distance from Earth. due to the lack of interest in the old futures end i have rewrote the story it is now only one ship as well the Uss Apollo an Akira refit class (see site for details) the new story is: Late in 2374. The combined forces of the Dominion, attack the Federation and their allies. The Federation having controlled the Alpha Quadrant for as long as they can remember are now being threatened with total destruction, at the hands of the Dominion. The federation has been beaten back time and time again. It is obvious that we are loosing the war. Back at Starfleet command, the top brass has to re-think they way we fight because the rules of war have changed.. for the worse. They have decided to commission a new fleet of special operations ships, tasked with infiltrating key Dominion targets and dealing with the treats they may cause. The ships are loaded with the latest technological break thoughs in; weapons, shields and amour. Also the Apollo is equiped with a energy daperning device on the basis that all intel gathered on the Dominion is to be shared with everyone. This is the only hope for the federation is this fleet. USS Ark Angel now recruiting The USS Ark Angel is a heavy dreadnought that specialises in military and tactical missions. We have recently been called back to Earth after a spell in the Delta Quadrant where, on the orders of Fleet Admiral Janeway, we were sent to offer assistance to Neelix and his colony. I am looking for a co-writer and xo which can help me create a fun and productive sim. A game which is not about the numbers of members but about the characters and the stories. I would like to create a place in the spirit of the already existing sims, such as Kepler Station or USS Gemini, with a friendly community and a place to be shared for years to come. My own qualifications is that I have rp for over 9 years, although not having tons of experience of GM myself I have a lot of skills in photoediting, styling (CSS/HTML) and running a forum. I am looking for someone that wants to create something from the start, friendly, willing to exhange ideas and help out to write and run the sim with me. The game will most probably be taken place on a starbase near a uncharted region where there exists nebula alike phenomena containing a web of wormholes, some leading nowhere and some leading to places we have never heard of. The game is to be about humor, exploration, diplomacy and guardians of the gateways - hence the name of the game, gatekeepers. By the way, this is not a Stargate roleplay! I am consider to place this in the new Star Trek timeline. The characters should be as interesting as SGU, no vulcans here that are nothing else but logic and so on.. it’s all about the characters.
