I dub them Pugh 1, Pugh 2, Barney McGrew, Dibble, and Grubb. Cuthbert had the morning off but he can be number 6 if it's confirmed, and Flack could be number 7.

Captain Flack who read out the role-call. I think we've just about run out of deities for naming planets and asteroids in our own solar system, but there are plenty of cartoon and animation characters.

I guess proper naming will occur once we discover FTL and settle our galaxy (and have kicked a few alien asses to establish our rep).

Well we haven't been to lots of objects in out own solar system, and if you discount automatic probes as well, that would mean that we could only have names for the earth and the moon.

Besides, thinking up names for things is fun.
