So I wanted to see when the next original Trek would be published and lo and behold, a couple of covers came up in the process. Some final some not.

We've already seen the Rough Beasts cover, but I think DTI and Sieze the Fire are new.

Wow, that DTI cover is pretty dull looking. Good thing it's not the final cover.

I quite like it, and I wouldn't have minded if it was final. To me, its rather striking, but in a way that's also soothing.

Doesn't work for me. It's just a blur of colors, with nothing to catch my eye when I see it on a bookshelf from across a room.

I like the DTI cover. But then that's how most covers look to me until I'm close enough to pick them up - a mix of colors.

Aesthetically the DTI cover is the best - even though it doesn't have the usual faces of Star Trek cast that is supposed to lure the reader. The other two need to have a lot of work done to start looking decent - for starters, do something about the colors!

The DTI cover kinda makes sense since the storyline deals with TT. I'd guess the cover is either a ship in warp or a rift or maybe even a wormhole. Only Christopher would know for sure.

As for STF, why is Tuvok in a different uniform?

And Spock and Sisko? How's that possible?

Only Dayton's needs to be seen....

Marc, you've been told twice before (once via an infraction) about hotlinking. You therefore have another infraction for doing so again. You should familiarize yourself with the rules on this.

Seriously, dude, how hard is it to save an image to your computer and upload it to Photobucket or some other picture sharing site?

We've already seen all of these covers. The Typhon Pact ones have been online for a while, and the DTI was posted a week or two ago.
As for the covers, I like them all.

Yeah that's my thinking as well.
He's in the current uniform, like he was on the The Red King cover.
Well, it does take place between Unification and STXI so Spock is still around and active, and it's (despite the cover image) after What You Leave Behind (well there might be pre-DS9 flashbacks, but that's besides the point. As for why, I think the back cover covers that pretty well.

Still on Romulus in pursuit of his goal of reunifying the Vulcans and Romulans, Spock finds himself in the middle of a massive power struggle. In the wake of the assassination of the Praetor and the Senate, the Romulans have cleaved in two. While Empress Donatra has led her nascent Imperial Romulan State to establish relations with the Federation, Praetor Tal’aura has guided the original Romulan Star Empire toward joining the newly formed Typhon Pact. But numerous factions within the two Romulan nations vie for power and undivided leadership, and Machiavellian plots unfold as forces within and without the empires conduct high-stakes political maneuvers. Meanwhile, four years after Benjamin Sisko returned from the Celestial Temple, circumstances have changed, his hopes for a peaceful life on Bajor with his wife and daughter beginning to slip away. After temporarily rejoining Starfleet for an all-hands-on-deck battle against the Borg, he must consider an offer to have him return for a longer stint. Beset by troubling events, he seeks spiritual guidance, facing demons new and old, including difficult memories from his time in the last Federation-Tzenkethi war.

It was actually posted at the same time as DTI:
    Paths of Disharmony cover.

It's not the DTI cover. It's a piece of placeholder art standing in for the DTI cover which is still in progress.

Having been unfortunate to see that film, my answer would be no.

Actually I have been thinking that the model for Shar reminded me a bit of Noah Ringer (who plays the title character in that film).
