I dont know why this is not discussed more, so ive started a thread for that.
Having just watch Elventh Hour, its clear that Amys house (not unlike James Cordens house) has a 2nd floor.
If you look from the outside, you see a normal 2 story house, 2 rows of windows and a roof.
Yet on the inside we see alot of the 1st floor landing, cleary with stairs coming up, and stairs going down, suggesting at the very least there are rooms in the attic, if not IMO a full 2nd floor.
On the outside there is nothing to suggest that there are rooms in the attic, and even if it was the stair case looks like it was built with the house, not installed after a left conversion.
Cleary the Doctor notices the hidden room, but not the extra floor, also dont think it was ever fully explained how the screwdriver got where it was, maybe this is all future stuff.
Floors are some reason labeled as "Ground, 1st Floor, 2nd Floor"
