No, the site doesn't have spell check. There is a spell checker add-on for Internet Explorer, though since you're at the library you either can't or shouldn't install it.

Although, if you're at the library, there are these things called dictionaries with the correct spelling of every word in the English language.

Unfortunately enough for even native-speakers many rules will change very soon! That is only one of the reasons I don't worry too much about it - in spite of having earned my degree in English! People can still communicate effectively without adhering to all the rules. Language is only a tool - some people wield it more effectively than others but that does not make them better people - perhaps just better communicators!

Languages are always in a state of flux. There are no "fixed rules", just conventions that are supported by consensus. I am far from a grammar Nazi, but at the same time to "break the rules" you must at least be aware of them. Having a idiosyncratic style of writing is not a problem, but when it hampers your ability to be understood clearly and efficiently, people should think if there is something they can do to improve.

Well, hours as in thousands of them.

But honestly, it's not a matter of some misspellings here and there. I am hardly in the position of criticizing anyone's grammar and spelling. And I'm sure most people here know the language a lot better than I do. What I find annoying is the apparent laziness of not even trying to spell correctly, leaving to the reader the job of deciphering your sentences. I'd argue it's a bit disrespectful, both the reader and to the people that spent a lot of time and effort to learn the language properly.
