Just watching The Naked Time at the moment.
An excellent episode, for me, the only dull part is Spock's long monologue, but even that offers good glimpses into his character.
Security on the Enterprise isn't too tight though. Spock orders security to make sure Riley gets to sickbay, and he's in there for a good couple of minutes and yet no-one arrives to check he is there.
I also find Sulu's sneaking off the bridge a tad unrealistic, considering how loudly he and Riley are speaking, and given Spock's fantastic hearing! I do love the shot of Riley idly pushing buttons, trying to stay in the background when Spock rushes over when he notices Sulu's absence!
Rand at the Helm is another high-point - a bit odd though - surely there are many more non-intoxicated qualified officers aboard?
The inner geek in me loves that we see our one and only sight of the Lieutenant J.G. braid in this episode.
