HA! Personally, I was waiting for Princess Leia to take off her helmet and tell Han Solo she loved him. That or for somebody to adress Thot Gor as "Boba Fett." Seriously, how did they not get sued by the Star Wars people for ripping off the costume?
But back on subject, I think there's a scene where we get a burst of Breen static, and then Weyoun says, "Of course, I agree completely!" Hee, that was funny. It's all in the line delivery.

On another note, you know what I would have loved to see? Some Jeffrey-Combs-as-Weyoun outtakes. I bet he's the guy who keeps making people laugh so hard they can't get through the scene, you know?

The most obvious example is that Proton torpedoes are a derivative of Photon torpedoes from the original series.
But on a larger scale, Star Trek popularized the 'Space Opera', which Star Wars owes its existence to. This sounds generic, but there are hardly any science fiction properties that didn't draw from Star Trek either consciously or unconsciously. When Han makes "the jump to lightspeed" he is inadvertently referring to the warp drive from Star Trek. Communicators, viewscreens, psychic powers, they all have fictional lineages that Star Trek played a big role in bringing into the American cultural consciousness. It's ludicrous to think it didn't play a role in how Star Wars was developed.
