So because they're feeling generous, they leave behind a replicator for Neelix so that he can still have ice cream and any of human delicacy it is hobbit to experience... But they quickly discover that the valuable mineral they mine for on that asteroid can be quickly and cheaply replicated.

How many weeks after then till that dingy little place regresses into Talos IV?

I mean what if it had been Neelix and Janeway trapped together on that planet in Resolutions? Or what if after The killing Game, Janeway discovered that she was pregnant with a littler of Nelix's kittens? And didn't he prove to be brave loyal and valliant in year of hell as he became an officer rather than a mercenary recreating himself in a light she could admire?

Neelix kittens! OMG! Hope they're cuter than their daddy.

I never thought of Neelix with Janeway, ever. You could just as easily (if not more so) pair Neelix with Tuvok. Neelix looks up to strong authority figures and loves serving others. He was in love with Kes, and then later he obviously was attracted to the Talaxian widow, but I never sensed any romantic attraction between him and Janeway.

I can see Janeway with Chakotay, but no one else on board.

The bare nuts of it are... Ethan claimed Neelix was deeply in love with Janeway(Gods, I wonder if the Hedgehog had Kes play dress up as Janeway? But only if quid pro quo Neelix dressed up as Chakotay or perhaps Paris?), and it was almost said so on camera in a Conversation between Neelix and Q, that if he wasn't good enough for the captain, then most certainly Q "wasn't" either, or more accurately from Neelix's perspective "wasn't more".

You've got a point there, but even so I would still say that Neelix hid it well.

If he did pursue her, I don't think she would have taken him seriously. I think she would have been both touched and embarrassed and would have tried to let him down easily without hurting his feelings.

Speaking of Neelix kittens . . . I wish we could have seen what a baby Talaxian looks like. The series shows some Talaxian children, but not a baby - I bet it would be cute! All of the other alien babies in Star Trek are cute, even the Jem Hadar baby in DS9. And don't even get me started on the little Cardassian-Bajoran hybrid babies . . .
