Comcast just sent me a weird letter outlining their "new TV, internet and phone technology platform" Xfinity. It makes it sound as if I need to be calling Comcast/Xfinity for some sort of upgrade (new cable box, etc.). Apparently, it's just some new rebranding of the system that I'm already using (at least, that's my understanding after an internet search--their website was not helpful).
Why are they sending this confusing letter out to current customers?
Edit: By the way, I just signed up for netflix streaming video (for my Wii). I get the disc tomorrow. It looks better than having to pay Comcast $4.99 for a one-day rental (not that they don't have a few random movies for free). Netflix online streaming seems to have many fewer options than Netflex DVD rentals, though.
