"There's one thing you never want to put in a trap if you're smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans of seeing tomorrow then there's one thing that you should never, put in a trap."

I think I will go watch the entire season again to have a new view of each episode. It might be fun!
Thats what I have been doing, I am watching hungry earth at the moment.
And I could not help but think of Pandorica opens when I got to the trap speech in the time of angels.

Just replace them with the proper Cybermen and it'd be perfect.

Though to be fair, now they don't seem to stomp around in formation like tin idiots and act like they may as well be robots, the design seems to work.

Watched Time of Angels today and one bit really stood out to me, when River is reading from the book about the weeping Angels, and she says something about "when ideas can think for themselves and dreams no longer need us the time of Angels will be upon us"...

... Which wouldn't have fooled the Doctor. Probably not even Amy, though Rose went an embarrassingly long time before noticing anything wrong with Mickey. So the Nestene tried something novel; sleeper agents.

the Autons did a similar thing in the book Autonomy.

The eighth Doctor audio drama Brave New Town as a similar premise, with a group of Autons who think they're people when they never get activated by the Nestenes.

That quote from the cliffhanger to "Time of Angels" reminded me why I'm now a huge Matt Smith fan. That was great delivery and yes is tempting me to re-watch the series, so many threads and lines in play that could end up possibly playing a part in Saturday's finale. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it until it happens or not but I really hope that Steven releases his scripts.

I'm wondering if something he said to Amy in the first episode will come into play at all: "Amy Pond, there's something you'd better understand about me because it's important, and one day your life may depend on it. I am definitely a mad man with a box."

I've never had a problem with the costume design, rather my problems with them were the writing and presentation of the characters: the stomping, yelling "Delete! Delete! Delete!" and their origins being exactly the same as Genesis of the Daleks.

Well, now he's a mad man in a box.

Hmm. I prefer Vogon poetry to Cybermen poetry. The Vogons are just better at using interesting rhythmic devices to counterpoint the surrealism of the underlying metaphor.
