Red Hair

I do not like red hair. At all.

I'm more the opposite:)

I just don't see as many around as I'd like to.

Amen to that!

I have another one.

With the right colorist, any person can have whatever hair color they want and make it look natural. Red hair on the right person is definitely attractive, though.

I find red hair to be the single most attractive color on a woman. I blame the likes of Jean Grey, Mary Jane Watson, and Black Widow from all the comic books I read as a kid for making me that way.

Alex Sim-Wise grr, baby

I think ... I'm in love.

I've seen her on X-Play's video podcast. She did a report on a massive LAN party over here in the UK. She came across as being as dumb as a post. She reacted with complete amazement at everything she saw. "You're from Finland? OH MY GOD! THAT'S AMAZING!"

In relation to this, isn't Morgan Webb also a redhead? When she started changing her hair to black, I thought it she made a big mistake. Maybe it's a wig though, but black doesn't suit her at all.

She has, apparently dyed her hair all sorts of colours, including one particularly bad job which gave it a semi-permanent red tint. She also dyed her hair so often that it started to go green so she shaved it all off.

Since red hair is a recessive gene, and we're all breeding without thought to hair color, red hair should be bred out of our species eventually.

That will be a sad, sad day for all. :(

I think the genetic engineers will intervene before that happens.

Really? I'm not so sure about that.

It seems to me that if we eventually become "One People" it will mean that those who choose to preserve superficial differences will be seen as, well, racists.

I mean, how could small pockets of people who seek to be as black or pale as possible be seen as anything but oddities?

I'm just musing here on our far-off future.

My former dancing partner (who was also the second-tallest girl at school) was a redhead. Great singer, too. Those were good times, all things considered. :sigh:

I look far better as a redhead than as a blonde.

Picture or it doesn't count

Argh. You asked for it. Don't blame me if it frightens the children.....

I had to go back a bit to find a pic of me as a blonde. The problem is that I'm so pale, on every picture of me, the camera or photographer has adjusted it--darkened it--or else I'd appear as a flash of white light with two blue eyes. That makes my hair look darker than it really is. I found this snap from Christmas of '07, where I had blonde (and somewhat frizzy) hair.

And here's my wedding photo from 6 years ago, and my favorite pic with my best bud--about 2 years ago.

My real hair color is some mutant reddish blonde--not really one of the other--like a weird kind of butterscotch.

Here's on old photo of me as a kid, for proof. My hair is almost the same color as the chair I'm sitting in.

It didn't look natural in the slightest, but Milla Jovovich broke my (then) teenaged brain with how hot she looked with that neon-orange hair in The Fifth Element.

Well the human race is so diverse that it would take several millennia for the entire species to become that generic. genetic engineering is only a few centuries, or even decades, away.

Redheaded women=attractive
Redheaded men=affront against god and all that is beautiful.

Unfortunately, you can't have the former without a few of the latter.

Genetic engineering is with us right now. Just ask your dog or cat(if you have one.)

As for the total blending of superficial differences, yeah, that could take thousands, or even tens of thousands of years.

IMO
