Royal Pains new rapping doc ad...

That was a riot!! Loved the Fonz!

And yea, between Burn Notice, Royal Pains, and Psyche, (think there is one more I am forgetting) USA has more shows than any other single broadcast network that I watch.

Edit: Oh yeah! White Collar!

They are starting to add some new shows as well, not sitting on their tails with what works. They've got a new show staring Piper Perabo called Covert Affairs which looks pretty good. Here is one of the preview trailers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLkMN6K0as0

And you have to love that the heads of USA let the writers/runners of Psych to take shots at The Mentalist ever two weeks or so.

I watched this three times yesterday. I think it's hilarious. It's so corny, but they totally know it and it shows that the actors are having a great time on set.

Love the cameos from Donovan and Bomer too. I'm wondering if the crossover will ever go deeper than a promo?

I love this... NBC:U is missing the boat, they need to put who ever is in charge of USA in command of NBC as well.

Agreed! - USA seems to be doing way way way better than NBC. Zucker must not be involved at all. lol.

Psych
Burn Notice
Royal Pains
White Collar
In Plain Sight (Wobbles in Quality)

I think that USA's success at the moment can be tied to three words: Fun, Smart, Respect.

Their programs are Fun to watch.
Their programs are Smart and don't play to the lowest common like network shows have to.
They are respectful of their audience.

Those three points are what is driving them ever further into the success column.

Makes you wonder why promos for Syfy shows almost make you not want to watch...Hire whoever does the USA Net on air spots for Skiffy too....

Completely agree, and don't forget comedy. When there's comedy in their shows... it's funny! A concept lost on most network sitcoms.

It really says something about sitcoms right now when Dramedys beat them in laughter.

So what did you guys think about the 'Season 1' Wrap Party Wrap?

I didn't even know about it until I saw the 'Season 2' Rap

Looks like the cast & crew like to have a good time.

I think the cast and crews of all the current line up on USA are having a great time. I mean, have you seen the promos and outtakes from them? Burn Notice and Psych especially?

Well, I'm glad you guys like this ad. I think it is incredibly stupid.

But then, I think the show itself is kind of stupid, so I guess it makes sense. Although I do like Campbell Scott.

I think the commercial for Burn Notice, with the gun and then the grenade ('What grenade?') falling out of her purse is hilarious. But lily-white guys who play doctors and accountants doing rap is just too ridiculous for me to watch without wincing 2 or 3 times. Maybe it's because I'm an accountant myself, and I cannot think of a single co-worker I have ever had who could pull off rap.

I really like Burn Notice and In Plain Sight. And I'll give that girl CIA agent show a try this summer...but I don't really like Royal Pains...and Psych I mainly watch for background noise when I'm on the treadmill or something. Haven't watched enough White Collar to form an opinion...but I will say this much, even though I'm not a fan of RP, I do think USA has become a contender network because of all these shows.

Something for everyone.

Royal Pains is an odd show. It's the only show I can think of where I absolutely loathe the lead character (he has zero charm, zero sense of humor, and just comes off as an asshat all of the time), but still love the show because of everyone else involved.

I don't like the main character...but I don't like his brother either. Biggest chump of an accountant who ever lived. I take it personally when accountants are portrayed as such incompetent and clueless boobs. And this guy certainly is.

Accountants don't even think about doing infomercials. It's not what we do.

However, I do like the girl okay...and Boris - Campbell Scott's character is good too.

It's kinda funny, because I started watching this, Burn Notice and In Plain Sight at pretty close to the same time (started all of them in the past few months) and was expecting to like this show the most...and ended up liking it the least.

Go figure.

I'll agree that the ensemble is a great one, but I don't mind Hank at all. He works really well, he's supposed to be just a nice, easy going guy who clashes with everyone else. Real good show though, great addition to the USA lineup

This.

USA is really the best network currently going. Once Monk hit the air, someone over there figured it out. It's been strong since.

I just wish they could find some more original programs and not fill half the week with L&O and NCIS reruns.

I don't mind them really. Though they could branch out and fond some other shows to rerun from time to time.

Ya, I don't have a problem with watching the reruns because all the original programming they nail out of the park. Like I said earlier, I think it's rare to see actors having so much fun filing a show and it makes it that much more enjoyable to watch.

It's probably a huge reason why the cast has such great chemistry together.

I liked that as well. I love the crossover commercials. The one with Sam and Divia is funny, as well as the "what gun, what granade?" spot.
