I mean, certainly because as a young, unskilled, inexperienced teenager would certainly not be an actor, and most definitely would not be able to act as either an adult, make adult decisions or have anywhere near the skill of an adult actor. You see, it's all about age. The older you are, the smarter and better you are. Under 18? You're a bimbo and don't know anything. Sail halfway around the world? You suck at sailing. Which, as has been noted, is an interesting mindset. Quite a few of the people in this thread are associating "cute" and "pretty" with sex, and I don't mean in the broad gender sense of the word, but in the intimate sense. When I read Scotpens' OP, I thought of the word "cute" in the platonic/beauty sense, not in the "which one would you have sex with" line of thought.

Also stated in the Criminal Code of Georgia 16.6.3 subsection (c), if a person is "at least 14 but less than 16 years of age and the person convicted of statutory rape is 18 years of age or younger and is no more than four years older than the victim, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor."

Michigan

The age of consent in Michigan is 16, unless one is an authority figure in which case the age of consent is 18.

Both of these girls are above the age of consent in Canada, so it is in no way creepy for me to say that I would gladly engage in sexual intercourse with either or both of them given the opportunity and their (and my wife's) consent.

I don't even know why I'm still debating this, but ok, here it goes, again.

The imaginary number of 18 is a line drawn in the sand by the government, and all it says is you can't have sexual intercourse with persons below this age. That is it. It doesn't have anything to do with beauty or maturity or emotional readiness for sex or anything.

Why is it right to think that at 18 we can say someone his cute. But at 17 we cannot. Does 12 months or less really make that much difference that we are magically different as soon as that hour rolls by that makes us 18? No, I don't think so. We just use the number provided by the law because we have no other way to measure maturity. There are plenty of teens under 18 that are more mature than 20 year olds, and vice versa. Maturity is an individual thing, and no general number applied can account for everyone.

Obviously, we all here will obey by the law. The law says nothing about admiring beauty. It is only about sex. Believe it or not it is ok to think someone is pretty or cute without thinking of sexing them. No where in the OPs post was sex or sexual intercourse mentioned. No laws or rules have been broken.
