Question about inter-universe travel

Just wondered, is it still possible for Rose Tyler to travel from Pete's World to other parallel realities, barring the Doctor's home continuum which is sealed off thanks to the Time War?

Mu understanding is that travel between any parallel worlds is now impossible. Of course we were told it was impossible before and she still came back so who knows!

I thought it was just travel to and from the Doctor's home reality that was impossible.

Why would only our (perhaps) realm be off limits? Seems odd that the walls between dimensions would be weak apart from those surrounding ours?

But, of course, it only became possible because the effects of the reality bomb were felt in Pete's World before it was actually set off in Doc's World due to time moving faster there. Presumably it's only possible to move between dimensions when the structure of reality itself is crumbling.

Which, of course, makes me wonder if it will be possible for Rose and 10.5 to return when the Pandorica opens.

Thats a little cheap since most comments you make about Who since 2005 use the same Rhetoric over and over again.

As for the op I doubt Rose will ever return again though saying that I had an idea pop into myh ead the other day that when this modern era of Who finishes its run on BBC TV that they could do a special similar to TW:COTE with all the Doctors from the 2005 onwards era including some companions...See Braga that is what you would call a valentine to the fans

Nah, actually, a parallel universe being cut off from the main universe is a very ordinary science-fiction trope. It's nothing particularly contrived or extravagant. It's certainly not worse than Salamander conveniently looking exactly like the Doctor, or Mondasmen being allergic to gold.

The thing is though, the Time War was fought within the Doctor's home reality. While the War might have resulted in the dimensional walls around the Doc's universe becoming nigh impossible to breach, I can think of no real reason why the same would have been of Pete's World and other adjacent realities which the War didn't really touch. Davros' reality bomb enabled Rose to access her home universe because it weakened the walls around it, but she should still have been able to visit others.

Why does the Doctor want to explore his home universe? Curiosity, the desire to explore.

I actually have an idea for a fan fic where Rose and the Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor explore the multiverse together. I'm even thinking of having the Meta-Crisis Doc turn out to be Merlin from Battlefield.
