Concerning Spock's eyebrows... am I seeing things?

Well, as any of you who have ever been in a play would know, EVERYONE wears makeup, even the guys. I've seen several Enterprise crewman wearing dark eyeshadow -- maybe dark brown or black? -- it just appears that Spock's is more pronounced.

As for the yellowish skin, I think that just has to do with the green Vulcan blood -- I've seen several Vulcans with that shade of skin.

Yeah...he was worried about shaving them. He likes his thick eyebrows. LOL.

And so do his fans. :rommie: I'd love to see Quinto as Spock in a TV series, but the eyebrow-thinning notion makes me feel a bit better that it will never happen.

The yellowish hue was chosen because the reddish makeup originally used for Spock looked pasty and fake in black-and-white (remember that when Trek debuted, most American homes didn't have color TV). The idea of Vulcans having green blood probably came after the make-up change.

It will soon be announced (like in the next film) that there's something else in Vulcan blood that's yellow, and makes their blood green when it oxidizes.
