Harrison Ford and Dennis Quaid need to play brothers!

I agree - and I think Quaid is like a cross between Ford & Kevin Costner, so throw him in too.

Ford and Eastwood in a remake of Grumpy Old Men. But not a comedy. Well, not intentionally.

Danny DeVito and Joe Pesci in something.

Stallone & Schwarzenneger. You know you want to see it.

Christian Bale and Adam West. Or Christian Bale and Brandon Routh.

Larry David and Richard Wilson in a Curb Your Enthusiasm-One Foot in the Grave crossover.

Shatner and Hasslehoff.

I would love to see a modern western with Tom Selleck and Mickey Rourke. Classic affair with sheriff or bounty hunter after the notorious outlaw type.

Selleck isn't in it, but Rourke is in a really under-rated western called the Last Outlaw, about 15 years old. Also features Dermot Mulroney, a pre-Scrubs John McGinley and Silence of the Lambs' Ted Levine. It's about one notorious outlaw chasing an ex-member of his crew. Check it out.

Didn't take long to get to the lesbian sex, did it?

We're Trekkies; ergo, we appreciate the finer things in life, along with aesthetically pleasing films, and harbor no anti-gay prejudice besides. :p ;)

Sorry, what? Somebody say something?

Every now and then I get this odd flash of a story idea. It's kind of a horror story where Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts play demonic sisters who wreak havoc on the lives of random individuals. That would be my number 2 pick.

I like this idea. Since I do not have a number 2 pick, I will second this one.

My first pick would be a lavish historical biopic about the violent struggle over woman suffrage in pre-World War I Great Britain, with Emma Thompson as Emmeline Pankhurst and Helena Bonham Carter as her daughter Christabel.

Not sure who would play Sylvia. Charles Dance might be a good choice to play Prime Minister Asquith.

In his younger years, there was a twinge of Jack Nicholson in Quaid. I think it was that demonic smile of his

Yeah, I can see that. Jack's better looking cousin or something.

I would say also that Quaid is not only a better actor but more charismatic than either Ford or Costner. So it's perhaps inevitable that he never became as big a star.

I'd like to see Anthony Hopkins and Ian McKellan play opposite each other. (Really, I'd love to see McKellan and Claude Raines, but that's possible only in imagination.)

Alan Tudyk plays an experienced yet unassuming gunslinger at the end of the 19th century. Upon arriving in a small town, he is immediately challenged to a duel by a young, brash man played by Jesse Eisenberg.

As opposed to killing the yong man, he shoots the gun out of his hand and warns the town that the nearby mining camp has "mined all the way to hell" and a zombie virus has been unleashed. Along with a bartender played by Michelle Forbes and a plucky working girl played by Kandyse McClure, they retreat to the one place they feel they're safe from the hordes of hell. A church run by a priest played by Terry O'Quinn, himself a former gunslinger and bounty hunter.

OT, but where did you find that Jennifer Aniston pic?

Really, I'd love to see McKellan and Claude Raines, but that's possible only in imagination.

I've always hard a hard time seeing Claude Raines in anything, especially films he starred in.:p

I've had this idea in my head for a while for The Most Confusing Movie Ever! starring several pairs of actors that kinda look alike. Kevin Costner & Dennis Quaid. Christian Bale & Eric Bana. Michael Douglas & Martin Sheen. Josh Lucas & Matthew McConaughey. Keira Knightley & Natalie Portman. Rachel Bilson & Mila Kunis. Eva Longoria, Eva Mendes, & Rosario Dawson. Woody Allen & Arnold Stang (although I think Stang might be dead now).

What about an action movie starring Hayden Christensen where his crazy mentor is Mark Hamill & the bad guy is James Earl Jones?

Johnny Depp and Catherine Zeta-Jones in a steamy romance.

While Depp occasionally sports long hair & has a slightly girlish chin, he's not actually a woman. Therefore, I fail to see the appeal, nor do I understand what this post is doing in this thread.:p

MARK HAMILL is a professor of religion who also teaches kung fu in his spare time. NATALIE PORTMAN is a poli sci grad student and Student Senator. The university handbook says faculty-student relationships aren't allowed, but can that stop true love? Also starring HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN as Portman's gay second cousin by marriage, Hamill's best kung fu student... and possibly more. Directed by Lars Von Trier, THE UNIVERSITY HANDBOOK is sure to be one of the major films of the decade!

David Boreanaz & Nathan Fillion.

They were both Whedon's leading men and they both now star in romantical funny crime procedurals. Fanboy in me just wants to see them battle it out.

I was only thinking today about a revival of the 70s TV series The Persuaders, which had Tony Curtis and Roger Moore as the leads, and if it was revived, who could be the leads. The idea they';d be playing the sons of the original characters who meet up and get involved in the same capers as their fathers.

Initial thought for the Wilde role was Brad Pitt, though Brendan Fraser might be a better fit. As for the Sinclair role, not sure. Pierce Brosnan would be good, but he's a little long in the tooth. Most English actors these days are geared to the working class tough guy. David Tennant is a bit too small and weedy. Maybe Eddie Redmayne. Trying to think of one Brit and one US leading male, between 25 and 35, closer to the middle the better. Suggestions welcome.
