I've Given Up...

Well, the last 5 minutes of this episode are rather important for the overall arc and Amy's life. Someone not having seen them but watching the next episode might be a bit puzzled.

It's not the first time I've done it, and the last times were during the RTD era, but I've just turned off 15 mins into Cold Blood. I'll be back next week, but I thought this week and Hungry Earth were poor.

Then you miss a great last 30 mins, especially last 5 minutes.
In your view.

Well the poll and other opinions I've read from diff websites say alot agree with me, I don't expect you to like it no worry ;) your like the old grandad in the corner speaking of the past like it was the most glorious era ever.

That's not very nice. I have a point of view, as does anyone. It's not as if mine's completely at odds with everyone else's all the time either. I really don't think attacks like that are warranted.

I think this might be the first time the word "Wet" has been used to describe someone other than having water all over him/her? Is that a common thing "Wet and Pathetic" because I've never heard it as that phrase before.

I like Rory too, and this season, while not as good as season 4 or 1, has been fun.

'Wet' to describe someone as being rather pathetic, is a commonly used Brit expression! :techman:

Same in Australia.

He didn't attack you, he called you an old man and posted a winky-face. Do you have Aspergers?

You're always looking for an argument, Bones, otherwise you wouldn't just blast every little thing as negatively as possible, in the middle of threads where people are having a nice, positive discussion. You interject bitter negativity in every thread, condescend anyone who thinks otherwise, and then act surprised and offended when someone says something back to you with equal negativity...

Well firstly, the wink smiley is rarely put to any use other than the acceptable face of forum condescension. Secondly, if I came up with a simile to the effect of you're a daft twat who should be ignored, you'd be offended. Thirdly, I don't have Aspergers, but it's not something to joke about. I suppose you thought it was funny when RTD called fans who disagree with his decisions "ming-mongs" as well, did you?

Yawn.

Yup I've noticed this, Bones turns up, thoughts oodles of negativity around then, if someone dares to call him on it immediately gets very defensive.

I'm not calling Bones childish, but there is something childish about the attitude at times.

Maybe he's really Squire Trelayne

This thread is getting entirely too serious.

Carry on.

I prefer to argue the points about whatever aspect of Doctor Who we're discussing. When people start making it personal, I've learnt of late that it's better to try and nip it in the bud immediately.

Wanting to leave labelling and name calling out of it is childish? Good Christ...

I really wish I hadn't seen that video clip. It's a horrible thing to see when I've only just had my first sip of my morning coffee.

And isn't that Ernie's shirt from Seasame Street?

Except when it's not?

Bones, that's all you EVER say to anyone around here. Their opinion is unimportant, yours is paramount. You have full volume opinion privileges, everyone else is attacking you if they do the same. Case in point, please see your response at the bottom.

Thirdly, I don't have Aspergers, but it's not something to joke about. I suppose you thought it was funny when RTD called fans who disagree with his decisions "ming-mongs" as well, did you?
I don't know what "ming-mongs" are. Some baby talk for "whiny twat", I imagine. And, in that case, yes. I think it's perfectly fine, but then I don't live in your overly-sensitive drama-queen universe.

Yawn.

Thanks for proving my point. I'll get started on the "daft twat who should be ignored" smiley, but I'm not certain I can get your avatar that tiny.....
