I liked that Jacob and MIB were/are human, it made them more relatable.

I've worked out what would make the finale suck - have the battle against Smokey end within 5 minutes, and spend the rest of the episode at Jack's son's concert. Possibly with some sort of Kate escapade thrown in there too.

Plus there should be a sing-along moment with the cast, with cameos from the Ex-Prods and crew, followed by a moment where Jack leaves the party to realise his destiny and a final climactic (and hokey) fistfight between Jack and FLocke in a volcanic cave and.... what?!

I've got it! Future Jack needs to make an appearance! He's come back to save his, Sawyer, Hurley and Kate's lives, whilst conveniently forgetting the other hundreds of deaths that occurred since the pilot. He also forgets that rules for time travel have already been established.
