I love Season 1 way too much to skip over it on a re-watch. It's still my favorite season of the whole show, probably because of naive it seems. Water? Signal fires? Sawyer has the guns?! My god, the drama!

Yep. It will retroactively reveal that Vincent is behind everything.

I don't see what they can do that would ruin everything before it really. It'd have to go pretty much against the grain of everything established so far.
