People born in the 2220's are living to be at least 140 in the Trekverse. Picard could live for another century.
You mean 2320's? Also, Picard was born in 2305.

^I think he was referring to the fellow in your avatar.
^ Quite right.
McCoy was born in the 2220's and lived to be at least 140. Picard, being born some 80ish years later, could be expected to have an even longer lifespan.
ETA: FYI, I was responding to Christopher's post, not saying that you were quite right to feel silly.![]()

If I remember correctly Elias Vaughn is 101 when he joined the DS9 crew & President Bacco was about that same age when she was elected. If they are both healthy & remain healthy into their 120's why not.
According to Memory Beta, she was born in 2292, making her 80 in the post-Destiny timeframe. I don't remember the particulars from Articles of the Federation, tho.
There's loads of potential in bumping-off-the-TOS-characters books.
As for Crusher's ability to bear children at age 56, the record age for a woman giving birth in real life is 70. The record for conceiving naturally, without in-vitro fertilization, is 59, though that may have been the result of hormone replacement therapy. So Beverly's about at the upper end of the bell curve for natural conception by present-day standards, making it plausible even before you take 24th-century medicine into account.
I can buy Picard as a father but Crusher as a mother. In reality that woman would have no eggs left in her nest.![]()
