There's no law saying a catchphrase has to be used continuously. Tennant only said "Allonsy" a few times during his tenure.
A bit more than a few times http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3GMkWfpj4s but you make a good point. It's all about perception really, actual usage is irrelevant just look at "Beam me up Scotty".
he said 'brilliant' and 'weeeeeeell...' a hell of a lot too.
how many times however, did the Brigadier say 'Five rounds rapid!'?

Just for the benefit of those who havent been counting the "weeeeell"s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RssnpE9U6IU&NR=1
There's no law saying a catchphrase has to be used continuously. Tennant only said "Allonsy" (or however the hell that's spelled - I actually got flamed on this board for getting it wrong a few months ago. Get a life) a few times during his tenure. Tom Baker only asked people if they wanted jelly babies a few times, too. And the phrase "Oh my giddy aunt" which is associated with the Second Doctor I think was only used once - and I think that was in the later Two Doctors appearance!

The jelly baby thing - I don't see that as a 'catchphrase'. It's a character trait.

I've resurrected the necrotic remains of this thread because I'd like to submit what I think will be the actual catchphrase of Smith's first season:
"Bow ties are cool."
He also says "okay" a lot too, and may I say the way he says it sounds very sexy!![]()

Actually, his catchphrase appears to be "bow ties are cool!." He's said that more than geronimo.
He's also said "Something very, very not good" a few times (or variations on that).
