That was amazing. I cried.

I honestly can't see how anyone can be complaining about the bloodshed. Have you never watched this show before? Bad Locke said it: "A wise man once said a war is coming: I think it's here." What did you think was going to happen?

Is Lapidus dead then? I'm not sure I like how some of the minor characters are meeting their end. They seem to have purpose, yet they don't? I'm hoping the finale will give some clarity.

Its not the death persay. Its the fact that none of the characters are never going home. Their true home. They are pretty much (probably with the exception of Jack) ALL going to die and their memories will live on in an altered universe. I would have rather just see a few survive and get back to their real lives.

I have a feeling the writers are doing this to make a "blanket" explanation of all the things they couldnt explain. Now they can just say that all the coincidences, numbers etc. were because of the alter reality bomb. Remember the producers admited they were making alot of that stuff up as they went along without explanation. They were writing themselves in corners. Just lie BSG.

Oh that reminds me, isn't it a little selfish of Jin/Sun to let their baby be raised without a parent? Shouldn't Sun have said Jin you've never even seen your daughter yet you have to survive to raise her!

Yeah, it was selfish.

Who says none of them are going home? It's bit too early to determine that. We haven't watched the final four episodes yet and it's also a bit too early to determine that the finale is going to be disappointing. To those fearing that, just have a little faith in the show.

Wow, you have a copy of the finale script?

I cant see how it will go any other way. There are only a few of the original passsengers left. So we are halfway there. I assume they could be the only survivors and the altered reality ceases to exist and they get home, or they remian on the island after all is said and done.(which would suck) But I doubt it either will happen. I could be wrong and hope I am.

As cliche as it was to start killing off regulars as we wind down it was still sad to see them go.

Although i'm holding out for horde of dead cast members to confront fake Locke.

Spirits of the Island UNITE!

I sincerely doubt the Alt will be an epilogue or some such. That would blow. Darlton has always surprised us in the past and I imagine they'll do it again. I won't write anything off until the finale ends. It's the only fair way to go about it.

Great Episode.

Sayid dying to (try) and save everyone else was great. He had been blindly following Locke for a bit, but Desmond got him thinking last episode, and he finally saw that Locke wanted them all dead so he did what he had to to save everyone else. Heck, he had already died once and was "living on borrowed time" anyways. I wish he had a bit better of a send off (a bit more screen time with him getting the bomb away) but still great.

Jin & Sun dying together was sad, but fitting. They both said they would never leave each other again, and they didn't.

Sad about Frank, but these are people living dangerous lives. it's just sad because he never asked to return to the Island. He was just piloting the wrong plane at the wrong time.

I don't think the "Island" was done with any of them, I think they would have all been alright if Sawyer had listened to Jack. It was a fake timer on the bomb. NotLocke tricked them. If they had just left the bomb alone it would not have gone off. Sawyer messing with the bomb is what caused so many of them to die. I wonder how he is going to take that when he regains consciousness? He was really close to Jin. heck, Jin was probably his best friend. And Sawyer got him killed.

Crap, was there a new episode tonight?! I thought they were still on their break!
Boooooooooo!

Is this how Flocke got around the "no killing" rule? He put them in a situation where they would kill themselves.

Good heavens, that was ballsy! But then that's Lost for ya! Four main cast members down just like that... and we very nearly "lost" a fifth and sixth! But it looks like Kate and Sawyer will live for at least another week. Thank goodness. My two favorite characters! Of course, now that I've admitted that.... :(

Is Sayid dead again?
Looks like it. Guess they'll just have to pick up the pieces and move on.

Seeing Hurley cry makes me :(
That was a touching moment.

So I assume Frank died too?
Yeah. Door hit him on the way out.

Above Average. A lot of action, but somehow the deaths fell flat. Guess it's a combination of little real emotional impact along with knowing that they're living on in the alternate reality. And yeah, it does look like we're in for a reset with the alternates' memories intact. Of course, I'm still thinking that we might be in for an additional surprise or two. It crossed my mind that maybe there is no alternate timeline and we're seeing ghosts still on the island. Who knows...

Two more things...

- I think we'll see alternate Frank before the end.

- I wonder if we'll ever find out what was up with Sayid.

OMG Lost has gone on a klling spree :( after 6 years we lose Sun, Jin and Sayid...Also I guess we loss Frank :( I don't believe it. To the few who are complaining about bad writing your just pissed main characters have died, this is LOST, people die no matter who you are.

The people in charge have a huge set of balls right now and I guess this means more will die :(:(

HOLY CRAP...that was so sad! :wah: :wah:

My beloved Sayid goes BOOM in a very rushed but noble way. Then Frank's final "Ah Crap" (or was it "Ah Hell?") and then Jin & Sun.

And then Hurley cried!

I admit it; if my hubby hadn't been there, I would've been crying my eyes out.

If they go the reset route I'll be really pissed but I don't see them doing that. It's too obvious and the Desmond episode kind of went against it, I thought.
