Love is still relevant. There are simply more emotional obstacles to knock down. We're a spoiled society, and sometimes we take love for granted. It's still there, and it's still relevant.
When I was a kid I used to sit on the lawn, at night, with a flashlight. I'd shine it into the sky and wonder what was happening to the beam of light as it made its way through the universe.
I never considered that the beam was probably bounced off the atmosphere and never made it into space.

You never know. Even if a single photon made it into space, your beam still got there.
I also used to believe that being a Boy Scout was worth it. I learned the truth when I was in seventh grade and learned that the others in my troop were asshat losers who only wanted to blow shit up and steal my bike. 
Actually, the atmosphere is about as difficult to leave for light as it is for it to enter. So if there were no clouds, only a bit of the blue light that it contained would have been scattered, while most of it would make it out of the atmosphere (though you could harly still call it a beam at that distance, unless you were shining with a laser).When I was a kid I used to sit on the lawn, at night, with a flashlight. When I was a Scout, my troop was mostly Jewish. Every knapsack had TWO mess kits.

We put too much faith and dependancy on love. That's not the end all cure all. It's all meaningless without money.

Well, to be honest, without love there would be nothing. No civilization, no social groups, no halfway decent government (admit it, most of us have it good even when our govs screw up a lot). To quote a very wise philosopher, all you need is love.
Everything else will sort itself out, money comes and goes, but genuine love will last.
I also used to thing good things didn't happen to bad people. I think I was very wrong. Heed my words kids. I'm 44.

Yeah, it's just in general, but love itself isn't dependent upon money. If you love someone solely for money, it's greed. If you love someone solely for their looks, it's lust. A genuine love is free of requirements like money, power and fame. In truth, all we need is love. It's general, but still true I think.

Um, yeah...I'm hoping this must be a silly little thing you once believed in...because it sure sounds like a fairy tale to me.
Ah, the good old days, when men were men and women were women.
I hope you're not serious though. Old fashioned values are old fashioned for a reason.
