Hmm... I'm pretty sure a classic TOS-y 'wheeling 'round a planetary orbit' shot would really suit the 1764-A! Something like:

That's all a lot of neat stuff, but the Retroprise isn't my design. I wouldn't want to syep on another artists toes.

That's really nice - great composition of shot, too.

Looks really good as it is, but I totally get it if you reckon it's worth 'upgrading' it to better fit with your more recent output. I used to design a lot of character sprites for various people, and every so often, I'd have an 'epiphany' of sorts, and my 'house style' would improve in detail, quality, etc. All well and good, but that'd also mean I'd have to go through each and every one of them and re-do them from scratch, in order to bring them up to the same standard...

Maybe it's worth doing a 'test shot', to see how well it holds up with the Defiant - you never know...

I'm not sure how I feel about the undercut's undercut.

It looks a bit like, a, ummmm, well, it looks similar to a... well, that round hole is reminding me of a... portal... where waste material... is ejected...

Having its so close to the shuttle bay definitely adds to the... feminine impression of the ship.

It'd be cool to see it next to the Metaluna, as well as in comparison with the Constitution - I really like the idea of a smaller-sized ship that still features the same hull geometry as the Constitution class.
