Here's a bird!



This was actually the first time I've ever cooked a whole chicken. I'm a big boy now!

Two words: Rotisserie convection oven. Chicken so tender and juicy it melts in your mouth

My parents were up to visit over the holiday weekend. They had been driving for two hours before realizing they had left their passports behind and had to go back for them. And then when they left, my stepfather got a ticket for not wearing his seatbelt...only half a mile from my apartment.

Those double eggs are rumoured to be good luck.

I ought to dig out some Casa Loma/X-Mansion pics.

I remember going there soon after the film came out, and while people were all enthused about the history of the place, I was like; "This arboretum is where Storm was teaching the kids, these stables they used as the garage, this foyer was seen when Wolvie was sneaking around..."

Of course, I had been there multiple times before, but still, that was why I went back.

Neat! I hope they got it on video. That'll be cool for the kid to see years down the road.

I'm not sure if they did. We randomly caught it on the news last night while we were bartending (the father and I work together), and they had that still photo in the article on their website. He was quoted on the website and listed as "a young man carrying a small child."

He sure is! And his sister (same age) is the Maid of Honor.

They're planning to have a Father/Daughter, Mother/Son dance for the first dance of the wedding. I fully expect it to be adorable.
