Hans Christian Andersen and A Song Is Born - old Danny Kaye movies
The Chalk Garden - old drama starring Deborah Kerr, John Mills, & Haley Mills
The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Season 2
24, Season 7
Mad About You, Season 4 (YAY!!! FINALLY!!!)

Shoved most of my tax refund into savings, but splurged a bit on stuff I'd been wanting for a long time. The release of Mad About You's 4th season motivated me to go ahead and make an order. It won't come until June, but I'm just so excited that they're finally in the process of releasing the rest of the show.

I haven't posted in here for a while but besides the usual purchases of shoes, lattes, shoes, wine and more shoes I bought myself an AeroGarden to grow my own herbs. My LATEST purchase though was a copy of "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet.

Finally after all these years it now begins!

Star Trek Deep Space Nine Seasons 1-3!

-I'll work on getting the rest as soon as I can but the DVD Sets are kinda expensive now these days good thing I picked up the first season cheap for $10 or so and paid about $25 each for the other 2 sets.

I can't purchase anything as I do not have a job or money right now, but I'd be thrilled to keep everyone apprised of what I do buy when such a joyous event occurs.

I bought a Stoplight. I don't know why, the price was right. It came with extra lenses so I can switch out the arrows for normal signals.

:lol: This will be one of those purchases you look at (covered in dust in the garage) in a couple years down the road and think.."What the heck was I thinking when I purchased this." Im sure it seemed like a good idea at the time. Ahhh impulse buys.:guffaw:

I just bought Fantastic Four OMNIBUS vol.1 off of Amazon for $65, new w/free shipping. It contains the first 30 issues of the series.

I don't normally spend that much on them, they retail for $100+tax. Usually I get them at shows for 1/2 price but this volume has been out of print for a few years now. Getting it for 35% off when most places can't get one new seemed good. The OMNIBUS format is how I'd like to get the early 60's superhero fare from Marvel. Already have Hulk and Amazing Spiderman.

The groceries that I bought online have just been delivered - total cost was $AUS159.67

I also just ordered Primeval Season 1 and 2 off Amazon for a total of $US41.47 (postage included) which is about $AUD47. To buy them in a store here it would have cost me about $AUD80.

Yesterday I bought a new 3-in-one computer. It is a Canon Pixma MP492 and it cost me $AUD98.

I also ordered some Magic the Gathering cards for my sons off EBay. My sons have only just started collecting MTG cards. One of the cards I bought was Iona, Shield of Emeria which one of my sons really wanted. I am not sure if it is a 'good' card or not.

I bought "Bioshock" for PS3 for $19.99 at Best Buy, along with a game called "Mini Ninjas" that I bought because I thought the name was funny.

That's a good deal! You'll be pleased to know Season 4 will air in 2011 with Alexander Siddig in the main cast! :)

My hubby has the PC version of Bioshock and played the HELL out of it. He loved it.

Just spent about $35 on special threads for my next cross stitch project. $3 a skein! I don't usually spend that much on floss (ordinary floss is 35 cents), but the project required them- couldn't substitute. I guess I'll justify my extra spending by stitching this chart twice, and give away one as a gift. :p

And I figured that as long as I was shopping, I'd go ahead and buy another chart I've had my eye on:

Vanilla capuccino. I was looking for it since 2 month and the bloody supermarked never had my favourite brand. They have it now. It's silly, but it made my day...

I bought lunch out today for myself and my friend, then some CDs: Journey Greatest Hits, The Who Then And Now and James Morrison Songs For You, Truths For Me and then an absolute bargain: Star Trek: The Animated Series for £8!
