Coming soon, to a BBS near you. You're right. Oh, and I'm putting the sombrero thing on hold, just for this one very special day of the year. But, check back tomorrow to see what silliness may ensue.
Rupert is a good sport with hats and the like. Whenever it's Christmas or a birthday or something, he ends up wearing a bow around for a while. He doesn't mind it. Helena hates it.
TREKKIEMONSTER: That avatar is awesome!!!!!! LOLOL!!!!!!! And i love how you did the "location" in Spanish!!!!!!!!! LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!! SMOOTHIE: Rup IS a good dawggie!!! My two birdbrains under the bed. They follow the "if i can't see you, you can't see me" mode of thinking.....
You know, the best bit about the Blue Warp Nacelles thread was that everyone...in a very star trek/IDIC/warm and fuzzy/piss your sides laughing kind of way, basically got on. There were no bad feelings whatsoever (it was only other members of the board who seemed irritated by it). The Trek XI was sometimes a wild place to be at that time (this movie will be teh end of trek!!!1111!!...JJ Abrams is killing teh star trek ) and it was nice to be someone where everyone had a laugh. You don't really get the opportunity to crack Star Trek jokes out in the real world... It was great fun too. I laughed with some great people. I learned photoshop. I learned how to make Gif's. I forgot again. What was great was that it came from nothing. Simply nothing. The way it snowballed couldn't be replicated even if you tried. Good Times.
^^ LOL! That's perfect!!! Well crap. I just realized i posted that picture in the wrong thread. It was supposed to go in the Cute Pet Pic Thread. *doh*
Speaking of dogs under the bed - I woke up about 3 AM on Saturday and went to get a glass of water. As I walked from the bed to the bathroom, I could only see one dog, the brown one. I figured the other one is off in a corner somewhere and I can't see her because it's dark and she's black. I think little of it. So 7 AM rolls around and I hop out of bed to start my day. Still no dog #2. We obviously didn't leave her out overnight. And the baby gate is up in the doorway, so she's not downstairs. I call out to her, "Helena, where are you? Come here girl!" And she wiggle out from under the bed and trots over. How a mostly grown Lab gets under there is beyond me, but it's her new sleeping hideout.
^ Funny! We had a shepard mix that would hide under the bed during thunderstorms or on the 4th of July with all the fireworks outside. The bed would shake as she trembled. They can make themselves so little if they want to! A friend of mine has a doxie. She sleeps in bed with them. One morning they woke up and couldnt find her. They searched all over the house. They could hear her crying but couldn't find her. Finally they did. She had rolled off the bed and got caught in between the sheets that were still tucked tightly under the mattress!
