You know, I'm getting somewhat annoyed at this season. It's one thing to have a bad leg, but I wish some of these teams, like Steve and Ally, caught on to the theme of "Slow and steady wins the race". It's not a matter of getting in first every leg, but more about not getting in last. Everyone who missed the coconut, or the Cowboys not bringing the bottle to shore, I honestly felt dumb watching this episode. Granted, there are some consistantly smart teams, like the cops and the aforementioned Steve and Ally (Even though they lost the backpack and I was wondering why they couldn't go get it after checking in), but for the most part there are teams who really do dumb things this season.

Good thing it's a non-elimination this week, but right now I think I still want the cops to win based on they do smart things week in and week out. I just hope Brent and Caitie and the Lesbian team don't win because they did something dumb and it turned really lucky. That would suck.

I was wondering the same about the backpacks, it's not like you left them in a cab or on the street. They are at the tortoise races, not exactly the criminal hangout.

I think teams just got complacent this episode and fatigue is surely setting in.

I figured that it would be a non-elimination leg around the time where the cowboys and the lesbians were taking turns going back for the one coconut they missed.

A lot of these teams are making dumb mistakes, but I've got to say that not bringing the bottle with you was one of the worst. By this point in the race (hell, by the end of the first leg), you should know to bring everything you find in the race with you to the check-in (unless of course it specifically tells you to give something to someone).

I just hope Brent and Caitie and the Lesbian team don't win because they did something dumb and it turned really lucky.

I'm glad they're spreading it out and not waiting till the end.

Is there going to be a Fast Forward this season? I liked those and it seems like they are slowly being phased out of the race. That kinda sucks. Of course legs like the one yesterday seemed so short that maybe it is good the FF is being phased out. I hope not.

I agree that that they made a lot of mistakes this week. I thought that it was stupid to have been a non-elimination this week . I would love to see the Lesbians go home . I was really hoping that Jeff & Jordan would have went futher.
