Complete Idiot's vs Dummies

Which of these two book series do you think is the best (if you like them at all)? Do you own any books in either series?

I have a copy of Photoshop 7 for Dummies and I have some Idiot books and Dummies books on my Wish List.

I think I have three Dummy books. I got Sex For Dummies, just because it was too funny to pass up; I got Independent Filmmaking For Dummies because I'm interesting in pursuing that at some point and I actually am a Dummy on the topic; and I got Guitar Playing For Dummies as a gift for someone, but the relationship ended before the Birthday came along, so I still have it.

I don't think I've ever actually looked at a Complete Idiot book.

I recently bought Fiction Writing For Dummies. I havent read it fully yet but it seems to be a good book about the topic
I have added few other Dummies books on my Amazon wishlist, about screenwriting and conspiracy theories.
I have also couple of those Idiots books on the list, but I havent ordered any of those yet.

I have read many of the "For Dummies" books, and a spate of the "Idiot's Guide To" books. Between the two, the "For Dummies" books win hands down. The information is completely correct, and the layouts and explanations are very easy to read. I assimilate information much faster from a "For Dummies" book than I do an "Idiot's Guide To" book.

I have Photoshop 7 for Dummies. It's kinda okay, but I think I learned more by trial and error and reading stuff on the net, to be honest.

There is also The Everything, series. I liked the Idiot Guide for Playing Bass, the Everything book on Blues and general guitar and For Dummies on Personal Finance and religion.

I have I think 4 Idio's books, I like them just fine. Don't have any Dummies books to compare to.

In my experience, the Dummies books tend to be more dumbed-down than the Complete Idiot's books.
